Dr.
Nicole Monroe is a life long resident of Desoto County.
She graduated from Horn Lake High School on 1990.
Dr. Monroe graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Memphis
earning a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Following graduation from the University of Memphis, she received
her Doctor of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1999.
While at Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Monroe served as a
research assistant in the contact lens department.
Dr Monroe was awarded the Outstanding Clinician Award in her third
and fourth year of optometry school .
Following graduation, Dr. Monroe completed a one year residency in
ocular disease at Omni Eye Services in Memphis, TN.
